Perseus Athletics was founded by a world-renowned orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine expert. The company designs and develops retail sports-training products and posture aids.
The company recently developed a new posture-training shirt called PostureTek. In order to move forward with their go-to-market retail strategy, Perseus needed to develop packaging for the shirt and accessories. In addition, the company wanted to develop sales collateral to share with chiropractors and other professionals with an interest in posture aids.
Stackpole recognized that, given the therapeutic nature of the product, it was imperative that the packaging look professional and appropriately reflect the price-point of the shirt. Collateral and packaging had to convey the benefits of PostureTek without becoming bogged down with complicated instructions or arcane medical jargon.
The final packaging is clean and sleek, with illustrative photographs and copy on the back that detail the benefits of the device. The design even subtly references the gentle curvature of a healthy spine. Stackpole also created a packaging insert with FAQs and instructions for use. The collateral—consisting of a desktop “poster” and take-ones—explain the device and its benefits in more detail.
